Suspicion grew about the death of the Widow.

Neighbors exhumed her grave. Where there should have been a body, nothing but bones were found – golden ones at that.

People summoned the Priest, who in turn called upon the Bishop.

“Such precious bones are proof of a saint,” the Bishop declared, “and belong, therefore, to the good Lord Jesus and His Church.” 

The Bishop carried the Golden Bones to the city cathedral and enshrined them as relics.
